BSE makes the best skins. If you are the type of person looking for a skin, you probably have the patience to apply this skin properly. It may take you half an hour or 45 minutes, but if you want perfect results on those corners you need to work for it.
Normally the cuts are perfect and include everything, I think they may have accidentally missed the microscopic microphone holes on the screen by the camera lense. I have not had any issues from this, but i have yet to try a video call that may require that particular front facing microphone. (Posted on 6/18/14)

Recieved my BSE Matte for the back an Glossy for the screen today. I ordered it from the Netherlands and it only took a week to get here. Faster than I had expected. After reading the instructions thoroughly and watching some vids on YouTube, I applied it with no problem whatsoever. Actually done within 10 minutes. You have to press the edges about 30 seconds for it to stick but other than that, it was a piece of cake. So happy that the back of my iPad is now protected from scratches. I haven't applied the glossy screen cover yet as I already have one on the Air, but I'm sure the application will be just as easy. I truly recommend Bestskinever!!
Just a side note: Would be great if you have skins for the Zaggkeys Cover for the iPad Air as well.

I purchased the 'matte' rear protector for the iPad Air.
Although a little fiddly to put on (the corners), once completed it looks great. Retains the look of the iPad with added scratch protection. Appropriate cut-outs for all ports and buttons.
Delivered to the UK at a faster pace than I thought it would have been (around 5 working days if I remember correctly)
TIP: I found pressing the corners down for a minute or two helped 'seal' them better to the surface of the device. (Posted on 4/24/14)

I got the matte finish for my iPad Air (been a BSE customer for a LONG time). Loved the the elimination of the glare, but the screen quality decreased too dramatically for me. My eyes aren't great and it gave me a bit of a headache. But they TOTALLY took care of me with their guarantee and I got the regular as replacement for the matte. The skin does what it promises. It seems to be the skin that best sticks to the corners even when I've got some application flaws.

I've used BSE for every (mobile) Apple device I have owned since the iPhone 3G, including the iPhone 4, 4S, iPad2, iPad 3rd-gen, iPhone 5S, my ladyfriend's iPod Touch and iPad Mini, and now on my iPad Air. I will always use BSE as long as they keep cranking out the high quality, low-priced skins.
For this iPadAir skin specifically: it's perfect. And the matte finish is great. I'll use that for all my skins from now on. All skins wear over time, but the matte finish doesn't appear as dirty and "oily" as the shiny finish; to me it is a better visual representative of the actual device finish.
Because BSE is such good value for it's price, and because all skins (yes, even the expensive ones, I've tried them ... once) wear and gather dirt around the edges over time, I always buy in packs of two to have a spare one on hand.
Application: it is imperative to apply the skin in a clean, dust-free environment, and to do so with great patience. The instructions are very clear on allowing the skin to "cure" -- certainly overnight. When I take care in applying a skin, it is fantastic. (Posted on 2/6/14)

I bought the gloss front and matte back. I am really happy with being able to use my iPad Air without worrying about scratches. I enjoy using the iPad without having a bulky case. The matte works well for the back. I found the corners were somewhat difficult to stick when wet, but one needs to keep pressing and holding the corners and once it dries, it sticks perfectly. The gloss front needs a wipe now and then to remove oil from fingerprints, but overall the Retina screen quality is not compromised. I found the pieces were well cut and fitted perfectly.
With my iPad Air all wrapped up, it is so much more grippier and I can hold it and not worry about it slipping from my hand.
Shipping takes a little longer to get to Canada, but not too long. The product was packed carefully in a sturdy envelope with "do not fold" instruction. I've bought skins for several of my portable electronics devices, and it has become a ritual to keep coming back to Bestskinsever. (Posted on 1/29/14)

I bought the screen skin, I've only used it for a couple of days, so not sure about its resistance to scratches yet, but it's very transparent and really feels like it's not there. These are not the cheapest skins out there, but that's not what these are about.
Price and value are two very different things. These skins look and work brilliantly and are worth every cent - including postage to Australia.
Watch the video and follow the advice before applying. It is not hard to do, but there are some good tips in the video to ensure a great fit.
Now it may look a bit odd at first as the skin settles in - but the video tells you to relax, so relax. You's see a marked difference in an hour or so...

I've been using BSE for years, and have a few bulk sheets for cameras and other gizmos that come into my life. As always, durability is awesome. The 4-stars is because BSE is a bit more $ than some other brands, and the die cutting has taken a hit in the last year or so - it used to be perfectly cut, and now you have to snap it out leaving artifacts.
The rest of this review is for people considering the Matte option for the screen.
TL;DR: If you always look at your device head-on, and don't mind a little "swoosh-swish" when you drag, Matte is a good option. Otherwise, stick with tried-and-true Glossy - the current iteration of it is pretty darn good.
For the Air, I tried the Matte finish (which they say will impair visibility up front). I put a Matte screen on my 5s, and actually like it (I have an Matte IPS monitor on my desk). There's a little clarity reduction, but I liked the smoother, non-tacky feel of the screen. It was a good decision.
On the air, it's.. different. The Air is.. ."hollow"? by design, and it amplifies taps compared to the iPad 4. Combined with the Matte protector you get a "swoosh-swish" as you swipe you finger across the screen - that's a bit distracting. Also, off-angle viewing is far more impaired compared to the glossy version. This isn't an issue on a phone because you're almost always looking at it head-on. Looking at the Air head-on, it's as good as a monitor with an Anti-Glare screen.

Bought the glossy front and matte back for my iPad Air Wifi only model. Easy to order and quick delivery to Sweden.
The skins are 99,9% perfectly cut and fits the device very well. A bit of a hassle to apply, but so are all wet-applies, I knew that.
Result is super-slick, i love the matte finish on the back and I don't have to worry about scuffing or scratching my Air.
