  • Samsung – Apple’s Greatest Foe?

Samsun Galaxy Skin - Samsun Droid Screen Protector - Best Skins Ever

With a philosophy driven by design and focused on foolproof usability, Apple products appeal to a large consumer base in the US. Buyers in the American market enjoy easy-to-use phones that also look pretty (processor speed and App selection are just bonuses). And with a rabid fan base, “Apple people” stay loyal to Apple products – iteration after iteration, for better or for worse.

But can a heavyweight contender from the Android market break through and threaten Apple’s share of the smartphone market? Samsung, the arguable king of Android phones, certainly looks to be the best choice to challenge Apple for their fan base.

The third rendition of Samsung’s Galaxy S phone quietly made its way to the mobile phone market  – with Samsung pulling out all the stops to protect their new phone’s concept and design. After debuting overseas, the phone came stateside in June 2012, being touted as an iPhone killer.

The sleek design and HD AMOLED display made Samsung’s latest Android an aesthetic competitor to the iPhone. But the Galaxy S III is more than just a “pretty face,” It’s powered by a 1.4GHz quad core processor and 1GB of RAM along with Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Apple fans fear not – the tech giant is still very much innovating and will likely announce some new line of products in the fall that will keep every tech blogger, columnist, reviewer and developer on the edge of their seats. This will follow a mad dash to storefronts in person and online where you hope to be one of the lucky few to hoist the next iSomething with it’s innovative design, display and functionality.

But if nothing else, Samsung’s Galaxy S III appears to have capitalized on the Apple formula.  Could Samsung finally unseat Apple in the Smartphone market?  Time will tell.

Design, Display – these kinds of aesthetics drive the value of an investment like a smart phone. That makes Smartphone accessories that much more important. Be sure to protect your latest investment with Samsung Galaxy Skins and iPhone skins to help prevent scratches and blemishes.

  • MacBook Pro: The Laptop King

The MacBook Pro, Apple’s premier notebook, ranks supreme in the laptop kingdom. Since 2006 Apple has dominated the industry and set the bar in design, usability and (to some) most importantly display technology. The mastery of “less is more” design set Apple computers aside from the rest in aesthetics, and with every model the tech giant made great strides in display resolutions – making their incredibly user-friendly interface pop out visually.

After years of Apple’s push towards mobility, CEO Tim Cook’s latest new release announcement at June’s World Wide Developer’s Conference finally had to do with a product that didn’t start with a lowercase “i.”

Apple will roll out a new line of MacBook Pro computers, which, according to Cook will be the most advanced Mac ever created. With a price tag starting at $2199, Mac buyers would sure hope the latest Apple computer came with enhancements. Good news to the Apple-faithful, the newest upgrades are what Mac does best.

Design will have slight modifications – with the newest MacBook Pro weighing in just under 4.5 lbs, measuring up to .7 inches thick.

Performance is sure to boom with an Intel quad-core i7 processor, 16GB of ROM, up to 768GB of internal storage and over 7 hours worth of battery life.

But the biggest, baddest upgrade to Apple’s signature laptop – its 15.5 inch “retina display” which will boast over twice as many pixels as most HD televisions.

Similar to the upgrade in The New iPad display, Apple has shown a mastery of aesthetics with a high-resolution screen.

With such a hefty price tag, Apple users are sure to be on guard against anything that may hurt the design and display of their beloved devices. In order to protect their MacBook Pro’s while still showing off the signature aluminum look – clear skins and screen protectors could be the answer. Using clear, protective skins means scratches and blemishes don’t stand a chance to ruin your $2000 investment.

MacBook Pro skins and screen protectors are specifically engineered to fit and protect almost any MacBook – the user doesn’t have to cut out holes for ports or leave any edge/corner uncovered and unprotected.

Mac users don’t have to stop at their laptops either. iPhone skins, iPad Skins and other clear skins can be used to protect the sleek designs and displays of Apple’s latest and greatest devices.
